Phoebe and Joe got invited to their first kids' birthday party! The party was to celebrate Ian's third birthday (one of Phoebe's little friends from church). Phoebe did a pretty good job, as far as doing what she was supposed to, when she was supposed to...there was only a minor incident of slapping another kid...oops...at least it wasn't the birthday boy! We brought Ian a John Deere-themed gift, with a personalized shirt and some tractor books. Phoebe thought the Cars-themed decorations were cool- especially when she saw that there was a place card with her own name on it! Wow! She also had a great time playing on Ian's super-cool playset in his backyard- she got some serious air on the slide, which she thought was waaaay cool! Thanks for the invite, Ian!
