I think that I will remember the look on Phoebe's face here for the rest of my life: when Matt and I came to pick her up at the end of her first day in preschool, we stood at the door with the camera poised to catch the look on her face when she found out that we were there to get her, and it was PRICELESS! She came running over, jibber jabbering about all the wonderful things she had done that day! She couldn't wait for Bubba to get down on the ground so she could take him by the shoulders and tell his how great it was to be a preschooler! (And all the little girls in Phoebe's class couldn't wait to get at Joey too- he became the life of the party: they girls were all petting him, stroking his hair, smiling at him, and asking "What's your name? What's YOUR name?" He was in 7th heaven...heaven help us when he gets into high school...oy...) Phoebe talked almost the whole way home about her day, and here were some of the highlights we could decipher from her ramblings: she went down the slide, but it was hot outside, she sang songs, she played with friends, she hit friends (and had to "Sit Down" because of it two times), she then kept "hands to myself," she had a cheese sandwich for lunch, she did not take a nap, and she had FUN! She then had dinner, a quick bath, and fell asleep immediately one she hit her bed...what a great first day of preschool!
