Biggie Girl

Ahh, the biggie girl... the one year old...how did this happen? Here's our little baby, cruising around, getting ready to walk any time now, babbling away, sitting in a booster seat...ahh, the biggie girl.

Birthday Party in LaPorte

The LaPorte crew had a birthday party for Phoebe the Saturday after Christmas- it was a hit! Phoebe had fun opening her cards, chewing on her cards, and oh yes- tearing up her cards! She got lots of great stuff, including a play vacuum, some blocks, a hand-made blanket, and an owl sleeping bag/ camp set! Thanks, everybody!!

More of Christmas

So as you can see, all that present-opening is hard work for a baby! By the time we were heading back to Dad's from Auntie Chris's, Phoebe had literally passed out in the back seat amongst the packages- she was babbling away one minute, and all the sudden she stopped. We looked back and she was sitting there with her mouth hanging open- we actually stopped the car to check and make sure she was ok! She had a grand time crawling/ cruising all over the living room, in between people and presents, in her fancy Christmas dress that Grandma Adams bought for her. A good time was had by all, and Phoebe's second Cristmas was a greta success! Ho ho ho!

Christmas Morning

Here's the Sweet Pheebs on Christmas break- mostly Christmas morning. Grampa had lots of fun sharing his freshly baked oatmeal raisin cookies with Phoebe- and Phoebe had lots of fun stealing them from him! The rest here are photos of us setting out cookies, milk, carrots, and a note to Santa and his reindeer- and he brought lots of great things for Phoebe in return! Santa brought Phoebe an art desk, along with all sorts of art supplies, like toddler crayons, coloring books, and finger paint! He also stuffed her stocking with tons of goodies, like biter biscuits, pretty socks, hair bows, and her favorite- a little stuffed Ernie doll!
