Here we are, visiting Santa! Let me take a moment to note that I don't know what has to happen, if the stars have to align or what, in order for these two children of mine to smile in the same direction at the same time. Phoebe and Joey alternated from looking excited, worried, happy, dazed, concerned, and back to excited at different intervals during the photo-taking experience, and not once did their facial expressions sync up no matter WHAT Matt, the creepy photo lady, or I did to try to encourage their cooperation! We were singing, dancing, clapping, ringing jingle bells...oh wait- maybe all that is what messed them up...next time we should just stand still and pretend not to look at them- I bet they'd be smilin' ear to ear then! Hmph! Anyhow, they did a good job, and this was our favorite picture of all: Phoebe is in a happy candy-cane daze, and Joey looks mildly concerned about sitting on a fat stranger: very festive and very cute! :)
