WHOA! We're Baaaack...

So: after almost a year of not-blogging, a dear friend and life's trepidatious events of late have inspired me to return to our blogs...yippee! Here's the back story: I joined facebook about a year ago, and have been sharing pictures with family via facebook ever since. I thought this was a great idea, until I realized that I have really missed the writing component of the blogging...sure, you can write a certain amount of text along with photos on facebook, but EVERYONE sees it...there is just something sort of nice about knowing that not many people probably see our blog posts...and that the people who DO read them are only reading them because they have made the CHOICE to do so, not because it was just some random info that has popped up on someone's status...and so: I am not sure where I want to go with blogging at this point, whether we will merge the kids' blogs, how often we'll post, etc. but I DO KNOW THIS: we are BACK, baby!

Crazy Face Dinner

Phoebe came across this silly food project in a Halloween magazine, and said it looked like Daddy... :) So we modified the idea, and made the faces for dinner! Let me tell you, the kids ate every last bit of this dinner!

Acorn Man: a.k.a. Cavo

Phoebe made her first acorn man with Mommy today, and when I asked what we should call him, she matter-of-factly said, "Cavo!"

Happy Birthday, Mamaw!

Well, Mamaw, we tried to mail you a REALLY cool birthday present, but Phoebe and Joe just did not want to stay in the box! :)

Backyard Picnic

We had a backyard picnic this afternoon, complete with lunch boxes, mat, and tent! It was VERY exciting, and Phoebe was more than happy to take over operations and set up the places, unpack the lunch, hand out the food, and make sure Joey ate a little of everything! :)

Dippin' Dots and Other Silly Things

Phoebe talked Mamaw into getting her Dippin' Dots, and she ate every last dot! Then she got all riled up...shockingly...and was climbing all over the place! Must be time to go home! :)

Phoebe had fun hanging out with Aunt Amber, and finding a special "Phoebe spot" towards the end of our zoo trip!
